The National Council support is crucial to our success at the Aspen Historical Society! National Council Members commit to a minimum annual contribution of $1,500 per calendar year. Many choose to contribute substantially more, allowing the Society to pursue our mission with vigor.

National Council members provide the Aspen Historical Society with stability and philanthropic leadership. National Council members receive all the privileges that come with membership of the society.  The Council meets annually for a review of Society projects and accomplishments and to select special areas of interest upon which to focus Council funds when appropriate.  Council members also receive special invitations to the many events that take place at the society.  The Historical Society staff works closely with our National Council members to hear their vision for the society.  In addition, as ambassadors for the Aspen Historical Society, members help to increase understanding of our mission and help shape the future of our organization.
